My adorable niece Hallie Anne turned 4 and had a fairy/ballerina/princess birthday party, whichever one you prefer ;). The party was held at a local venue called Pink Cloud. My sister Sarah did a great job decorating the party for all the little princesses. They made gingerbread houses and they danced with the Sugar Plum Fairy . It was every little girls dream birthday. Enjoy!
2012 was a year of many changes and I feel very blessed. For those of you that don’t know I was previously a preschool teacher. This time last year I learned that school I was working in was closing at the end of the school year. It was at that point that I finally made the decision to do what I had been working towards all my life, to be a photographer. I had been doing it part time while finishing school and then teaching, but had not had the courage to take the leap of faith and do it full time. It has been both wonderful and scary. The best part has been documenting the lives of so many old friends, family, and those that have been new to me this year.
Something that I have come to realize this past year is the importance of trust. Trusting in myself, trusting in my business, trusting my friends and family, and earning the trust of my clients. Trust is something that either happens immediately or it has to grow over time. I have been blessed because my clients this year have trusted me, and I feel that this is when I was able to capture some of the best moments. I hope that this trust continues.
Here are some of my personal favorites moments I captured this year. Please enjoy!
